Kindness to ourselves, each, other, and the planet is the foundation of proactively building a brighter future. We all do better when we all do better.
The natural outcome of a kind heart is wanting good things for people, and recognizing the unfair biases toward groups of people in our systems. Withholding human rights, or disrespecting individuals based on a generalized category is something we need to do our best to avoid.

Racial equality matters because humanity has a history of casting people into us and them roles, and then treating ‘them’ with less dignity, respect and compassion if it so suits. Compassion, understanding and humanity will flourish the more realize we are ALL us, and the more we learn about each other the better we can grow together. Deconstructing biases and preconceived character roles is important. The better we understand and respect each other the more we can move forward. We all do better when we all do better.
Two of our strongest desires as humans is to be safe and to be loved. Anti-heteronormativity matters, and has resulted in the LGBT movement, because assuming and insisting we all need the same things in order to feel loved, or sexually engaged has resulted in groups of people being abused. Closely related, anti-heteronormativity also means deconstructing the idea that family must look the same way and mean the same thing to people. Again we are fighting to build a more cohesive humanity by understanding ourselves and each other more openly and honestly.
Understanding neurodivergence matters because once more we are deconstructing generalized ideas that people are a certain way, and looking at the realities of our differences more openly, and with love and respect.
